摘要
本文是一个针对当今大学生价值观调查的报道。调查围绕群体与个体价值取向展开,试图了解当今大学生在对待家庭与个人、集体与个人、依存与自立、权利与义务、人生目的与行为准则等方面的不同观念和态度。在此基础上,对中西文化的差异及中西文化交流对大学生价值观的形成和改变所产生的影响做了初步分析,并结合当今社会的现状对文化交流及价值观重建提出了一些设想。
The study of Chinese culture tends to prioritize the tracing of cultural origins and the interpretation of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, with little attention given to the day-to-day behavior of the broad masses, and therefore does not reflect the reality and essence of current Chinese culture. This paper aims at making an attempt to bring cultural study as close as possible to social realities by analyzing the differences between western and Chinese cultures, and the influence cultural exchange has exerted upon the formation and transformation of the values of university students on the basis of the results of an 8-year survey, and presenting some thoughts on the re-establishment of values in response to the present social situation. The investigation is conducted around the students' preference for individualism or collectivism and their different attitudes towards such dichotomies as individual and family, individual and community, independence and interdependence, rights and duties, aims in life and principles of conduct, etc., from which perception can well be attained of the western culture's impact on traditional Chinese culture and its influence on people's routine behavior.
