A new model for the diffusion process of small molecules in dense polymer membranes

摘要 依据改进的Scatchard-Hildebrand模型、Flory-Huggins理论、线性黏弹性理论,建立一个新的传质模型.模型可以描述温度低于聚合物材料玻璃化温度时,气体小分子在聚合物膜中Fick及non-Fick扩散行为.应用此模型计算293.15 K2、98.15 K及303.15 K下,乙醇气体在PPES(杂萘联苯聚醚砜),PPESK(杂萘联苯聚醚砜酮)膜中吸收/解吸曲线,并与实验结果相比较,最大相对偏差11.54%,平均偏差4.53%. A new transport model, which is based on modified Hildebrand- Scatchard model, Flory- Hnggins theory and linear visccelastic theory, was proposed. It shows that it could well describe the non- Fick and Fick ctiffusion of gas molecules in dense polymer membranes below the glass- transition temperature of the polymer. Using this model, the sorption and desorption curves of ethanol vapor in PPES ( poly(phthalazinon ether sulfone) ), PPESK(poly(phthalazinon ether sulfone ketone) ) membranes at 293.15 K,298.15 K and 303.15 K were calculated. The maximal relative deviation was 11.54% and the average deviation was 4.53% comparing with experimental results.
