摘要
本文通过四川菩提瑞像的组合形式及国内其它地区同期遗存的相同造像的状况,论述了此类像之定名应称作菩提瑞像为宜,并指出它的流行是唐代瑞像崇拜的结果,同时分析了其与佛顶佛和大日如来像之关系。
From the groupings of auspicious Bodhi images of Sichuan and the layoutof similar groupings of deities in other parts of China, the authors conclude that thesedeities are correctly designated and identi ed and believes that they are the result of theworship of images of auspiciousness that ourished in the Tang dynasty. At the same timethe authors also analyse the relationship between the Garbhadhatu Buddha images andMahavairocana Buddhas.
