摘要
目的:分子生物学指标检测在甲状腺肿瘤细胞学诊断中尚未得到广泛应用,本研究试图评价galectin-3和VEGF-C在甲状腺细针穿刺细胞学标本中检测的价值。方法:应用免疫组织化学方法对84例甲状腺肿块穿刺细胞学标本行galectin-3和VEGF-C检测,比较不同疾病间检测结果的差异。结果:正常甲状腺、良性甲状腺疾病和甲状腺乳头状癌标本中galectin-3和VEGF-C的表达存在显著差异,其中Galectin-3鉴别良恶性肿瘤的敏感度和特异度分别高达为92.3%和84.4%。结论:Galectin-3和VEGF-C检测可以为甲状腺肿瘤细胞学诊断提供有价值的分子生物学依据。
Purpose: To study the value of galectin-3 and VEGF-C detection in thyroid FNA diagnosis. Methods: We detected the galectin-3 and VEGF-C levels in 84 FNA samples from different types of thyroid diseases using immunohistochemical staining. Results: Both galectin-3 and VEGF-C expression levels were significantly higher in thyroid papillary carcinomas than normal thyroid tissue and benign lesions. High level of galectin-3 expression showed 92.3% and 84.4%, respectively of sensitivity and specificity in differentiation of benign and malignant thyroid lesions. Conclusions: galectin-3 and VEGF-C can be good molecular markers in FNA diagnosis of thyroid lesions.
