摘要
产业是远程教育的事业属性,远程教育产业化发展的关键是其定位问题。文章从彼得斯的远程教育工业化理论入手,探讨了远程教育的工业化特征和服务产业本质,比较了远程教育产业化发展的“制造业模式”与“服务业模式”在产业特征和教学特征上呈现的差异,提出了远程教育的产业化发展应当将工业化特征与服务产业本质相结合,在从注重规模、扩大教育机会向注重服务、提升教育质量的产业化变迁的同时,实现远程教育机会与质量双赢的策略。
The author of this article takes the view that e-learning development of the 68 pilot higher education institutions has verified development of industrialization in modern distance education in China. He agrees that industrialization is property of distance education undertaking and points out that the key issue of industrialization of distance education is the orientation issue. That is: in what kind of industry can distance education operates? The article, starting from the Peters' theory of distance education industrialization, has explored the features of industrialization and nature of service industry for distance education. It has made comparison of the differences demonstrated in features of industrialization and features of teaching in production mode and service industry mode developed through distance education. In the end, the article analyzed from the achievements and current status of distance education within the country and points out that development of industrialization in distance education should combine the features of industrialization and the nature of service industry. When we look at changes of industrialization from paying attention to the scale, extending opportunities of education to paying attention to services and improving quality, the win-win strategy of both opportunities and quality of distance education can be realized.
