摘要
林木种子及苗木鉴别技术的准确性和可靠性是提高营林造林质量的关键环节。传统的种苗鉴别技术的局限性往往使之不能有效鉴别林木种子的品种及种源。DNA遗传标记技术则能提供稳定、准确、可靠的种及品种特异性标记,因而成为林业生产上极具潜力的品种鉴定手段。本文综述了目前国际上DNA遗传标记技术的研究进展,并讨论了开展我国林木种苗DNA鉴定技术研究的若干设想。
DNA markers are capable of providing stable,exact and reliable identification markers for forest tree cultivars and germplasm resources. It can overcome the shortage of traditional methods,therefore,should be developed into an easy way to check seeds,clones and seedlings. The most important mark ers are restrction fragment length polymorphisms(RFLP)DNA fingerprintings and polymerase chain reaction(PCR) based markers such as random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD), simple sequence length polymorphisms (SSLP) and amplyfied fragment length polymorphisms (AFLP). These tech nigues could be used in many aspect of forestry production besides germplasm identification such as:estimating genetic diversity in breeding populations,estimating seed orchard efficiencies. Because the number of DNA markers is polyentially limitless,it should be possible to map individual quantitative trait loci(QTL)by linkage analysis with high-density maps. Finally,if such associations can be found,it may also be possible to design marker-assisted breeding strategies for forest tree. So the development of DNA markers in forestry is of profound important and has a bright prospect.
