摘要
研究了一种可行的工艺方法,在钛及钛合金表面先化学镀镍,再电镀一层铬层,能提高零件表面硬度,能改善其耐磨性,表面硬度可达到HRC55~60。
A chromium electroplating technology applicable to titanium and its alloy was developed. The effect of the electroplated chromium coating on the hardness and wear resistance of titanium and its alloy was investigated. As the results, it was feasible to carry out chromium electroplating of the titanium and its alloys by introduction of an electroless nickel intermediate layer. The hardness of the titanium alloy and its alloys was greatly increased after the chromium electroplating (The hardness could be as high as HRC 55~60). At the same time, the electroplated chromium coating also contributed to significantly increase the wear resistance of the titanium and its alloys.
