摘要
针对同一简化车身模型与车轮,应用计算流体动力学(CFD)在STAR-CD软件平台下对6种具有不同辐板的车轮及其整车的外流场进行了数值模拟,探讨辐板上开孔面积和布置方式对车轮及其整车空气动力特性的影响。通过对轮腔内以及车身底部的压力等值线和涡量等流场特性的分析,得出随着辐板上开孔个数和面积的增加车轮的气动阻力和汽车总气动阻力系数的变化规律。
Six circumstances of flow fields around the same simplified auto-body model and wheel with six different kinds of wheel spokes were numerically simulated through Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) on the software platform of STAR-CD. The influence of the number and area of holes in the wheel spoke on automotive aerodynamic characteristics was investigated. By analyzing flow field characteristics in wheel cavities and underbody, results demonstrated that aerodynamic drag coefficients of the wheel and the whole car change as the number and area of holes increases.
