摘要
利用基于波长扫描法而改进的测试装置对一段很短长度(2m)保偏光纤进行了测量,采用极值密度法计算光纤的偏振模色散.在计算过程中采用了一种有效的信号提取方法,大大降低了噪声的影响,提高了测量的准确度.
An improved experimental device based on the wavelength scanning method was developed to measure the polarization mode dispersion of polarization maintaining fiber. The algorithm of density of extrema was used to calculate the polarization mode dispersion of fiber. A method to reduce the affection of the noise was applied and the accuracy of the measurement was improved.
