Calculational comparison of reinforcement between Chinese concrete code and US concrete code

摘要 通过具体算例对中国和美国的混凝土规范配筋量进行了直观的对比。本文叙述了两种对比方式,第一种是粗略的直接公式代换;第二种是通过全面的荷载和材料强度保证率调整而得到的较为准确的换算方式。本文不是两国规范的全面的对比,但从局部或一个侧面给出了中美两国规范有关配筋量的直接比较,进而使我们对两国规范的计算规则乃至于结构安全度方面的差异有进一步的理解。 By the cross-section calculations of a beam, this paper makes a comparison in reinforecement areas derived from Chinese concrete code to that of US code. There are two methods in this paper used for this comparison. The first method is called direct formulaic compuration which using the nearly the same date in the two different formula. The second method called all-round analysis method is to analyse the original data with coneepts of the two nation's safety degrees in structure respectively and then make transformation, the latter method results a relatively more exact comparison. From this paper, we can understand the differences in the calculating method between US code and Chinese code and afterwards we will have a new knowledge of the differences in the safety degree between the two countries.
