摘要
用金属蒸气氧化法制备纳米氧化锌已较成熟,但用此方法制备氧化铋时,由于熔体优先氧化,致使无法得到氧化铋粉体。在1 140℃以下,通过加入助剂,使铋固体蒸发、气相氧化,制备了氧化铋粉体。用XRD对所得粉体进行了物相分析,粉体为纯-βBi2O3。晶粒平均大小通过测定X-衍射线变宽效应,利用谢乐尔公式进行计算得平均粒径为33.7nm。用SEM对粉体的形貌进行了观察:粉体为球形,大小均匀。助剂对铋蒸发过程的影响实验表明:助剂的加入能使蒸发速度明显加快。
Nanometer zinc oxide could he made efficiently by vapor-phase oxidation. However, bismuth oxide powders could not he obtained by this method because oxidation of the melted bismuth obstructed further oxidation of the vapor-phase bismuth. In this paper, by adding agent in the preparation process, nanometer bismuth oxide powders had been successfully prepared by vapor-phase oxidation at below 1 140℃. Crystallite characteristics of the powders were determined by XRD, and the results showed that the powders were pure bismuth oxide, The average grain size of the powders that were estimated from X-ray line broadening measurements according to the Scherrer formula is 33.7 nm. A scanning electron microscope (SEM) was employed to determine morphology of the bismuth oxide, and the results showed that the grain was of near spherical shape with consentaneous distribution. The experimental results also showed that the adding agent drastically developed the vaporizing process of bismuth in vapor-phase oxidation reactor.
