摘要
在网络服务中,FTP,HTTP和Email等应用对信息传输的延迟不是十分敏感,而其他一些应用,比如语音和视频则易于丢失、延迟和产生信息抖动。为了区分不同类别的到达业务并满足不同的服务需求,路由器作为资源分配机制的一部分必须能够实现某种排队规则。在介绍先进先出(FIFO)、优先排队(PQ)及加权公平排队(WFQ)3种排队规则优缺点的基础上,利用OPNET进行了建模、仿真,分析了3种排队规则对FTP,Video和VoIP应用的性能影响,同时考察了排队规则的选择是如何影响路由器上网络资源的应用和利用率的,最后给出了分析结论。
In the network service,some applications as FTP, HTTP and E-mail are not sensitive to delay of transmitted information,while other applications like voice and video are vulnerable to loss, delay and jitter of the information. In order to differentiate among classes of arriving traffic and satisfy their individual requirements, each router as part of the resource allocation mechanisms, must implement some queuing discipline. Based on introduction to three queuing disciplines, First-In-First-Out (FIFO) Queuing, Priority Queuing (PQ) and Weighted-Fair Queuing (WFQ), from modeling and simulation on OPNET environment, the effects of different queuing disciplines on packet delivery for three applications FTP,Video and VoIP are analyzed. At the same time, the paper investigates. how the choice of the queuing discipline can affect the applications and utilization of the network resources in the touters,and the results are given.
