摘要
Using the nest material as the odor source, the group odor selection of Brandt’s vole Lasiopodomys brandtii was studied in laboratory. The selection parameters of dominant males, subordinate males and females were compared in 10 min, and the results showed no matter male or female voles, they both preferred the self-group odor; unlike previous studies, our results showed no relationship between body weight and social status, while the male social status may correlate with the testicle weight. Our results were some different from the previous studies, so we think the feeding condition, the source of odor, the physiological condition of voles and experiment group size may all influence group odor
