摘要
需水预测是进行水资源规划和管理的有效手段，尤其是在世界上不少城市和地区面临缺水局面的今天，如何合理而准确地预测未来的需水量以避免投资的浪费或减少将来用水危机的发生就显得更为重要．本文从预测方法、技术手段和预测本身所固有的局限性三个方面对需水预测研究及其历史发展进行了分析讨论，以期为水资源规划者和管理人员提供一定的综合研究方法．
water demand forcasting is the effective way to plan and manage the water resources. Since many cities and regions of the world are facing the threat of water scarcity, how to for caste future water demand accuratly in avoidance of the waste of investment and water use crisis is very crucial currently. In this paper, the literature of water demand forecasting is reviewed in terms of forecasting methods, techniques, and limitations. The object is to supply some background knowledge for water resources planners and management officials.
