摘要
复杂性研究是21世纪科学关注的中心议题之一。复杂性是动力系统演化的固有属性。层次结构的形成及其转捩既是复杂性的表现,也是系统整体性质的实现形式。非线性非平衡系统是复杂性研究的难点所在。复杂性研究应以整体论为原则,整体论与还原论相结合,以多尺度建模和有效数值计算为手段,努力探求物质世界运动的根本规律。
Complexity research is one of key scientific topics in the 21 century. It is the generic characteristics of dynamical systems. The emergency and transition of hierarchic structures (patterns) inside the system is not only the demonstration of complexity, but also the way to realize the general properties of a system. Problems from nonlinear non-equilibrium systems are the hardest for the complexity research. On the principle of holism, complexity research should make great efforts to search the fundamental laws of matter movements by means of multi scale modeling and efficient numeric computation.
