摘要
对非英语专业高职生英语学习情况的调查显示：学生英语学习兴趣不浓；英语词汇量小，口头表达能力差；课外英语学习时间不够；教学难以满足学生学习要求；学习目的单一。针对这种情况，高职英语教学应采用开放式的教学体系及多媒体辅助教学的形式，激发学生学习动机；调整英语教学内容，增强内容的应用性与实用性；大力提高英语教师业务水平和个性修养，以教师的教学魅力吸引学生。
The investigation on English learning of non- English specialty students shows that these students are not quite interested in English learning, have small number of vocabulary and low quality of oral expression ability, They spend not enough in English learning, have poor learning targets. And English teaching can not meet the demand of students＇ learning. Thus, it is necessary to take the open English teaching system and apply multi - media assistant teaching equipment so as to stimulate students learning enthusiasm. Teaching contents should be adjusted to meet the demand of their applicability and practicability. What＇s more, English teachers competence and personal character should be improved.
