以欧美国家公共图书馆产生的特定社会背景为切入点,以社会公众的信息需求构筑为主要分析框架,回答了公共图书馆何以最先出现在欧美国家,而不是最先出现在中国等一系列问题,进而得出信息需求是推动图书馆事业不断发展的主要因素的结论。参考文献6。
This text regards the producing specific social background in public library of America and European as the breakthrough point, constructs and analyzes the factors on the origin of public library. It points out the public information demands is the main factor of the origin of public library. The authors also answer why public library first appears in American-European countries, but not in China. 6 refs.
