波束空间的微小区信道研究

摘要 MIMO技术中使用多波束可以提高MIMO系统的分集性能和用于复用的接收检测性能,这为波束空间信道特征提出了挑战———需要探讨多个不同波束情况下的信道特征。利用射线跟踪技术对典型的微小区街道环境进行了大量的仿真,分别从路径损耗特性与角度扩散特性两个方面讨论了不同波束情况下的信道特征,并与全向发射天线的信道预测模型进行了比较。仿真结果表明,波束空间下LOS与NLOS环境需要重新定义,并且当在LOS环境下使用多波束发射时,可以使接收端得到类似非直视环境(NLOS)下充分的角度扩散特性,从而可以降低天线间信号的空间相关性,提高MIMO系统的性能。 The multi - beams technology used in the MIMO technology provides much challenge for the study on wireless channels, so that the characters of the channels under beams space should be known. In this paper a propagation prediction model in beams space is introduced in typical micro - cell environments using raytracing algorithm for such channels. Comparing to the aspects of loss path and angular spread in environments using omni - directive antenna, which realize that such features of the channels in line of sight (LOS) environments and non line of sight (NLOS) environments, it should be newly defined.
