摘要
碳/碳复合材料继承了碳材料固有的生物相容性,它具有优异的力学性能,特别是它的弹性模量与人骨相当,是一种具有潜力的骨修复和替代生物材料。但是由于碳/碳复合材料为生物惰性材料,其与骨组织表面仅仅是机械结合,通过表面改性,可在其表面构筑生物活性涂层以提高其生物活性和减少碳颗粒的释放。本文在综述了碳/碳复合材料表面生物活性涂层制备方法及其生物学响应特性的基础上,分析了目前研究中存在的问题,提出一些解决的办法,并展望了其发展前景。
Carbon/carbon composites preserved the inherent excellent biocompatibility of carbon. Their mechanical properties can be tailored to be similar to those of bone. Carbon/carbon composites were considered to be promising materials for orthopedic and dental surgery. However, it had no bioactivity and fails to form chemical bond with host bone. Bioactive coatings on carbon/carbon composites substrate can improve its bioactivity and reduce occurrence of carbon debris. The coating technologies and biological properties of bioactive layers on carbon/carbon composites were reviewed. The current research situations and problems concerning carbon/carbon composites in artificial bones were discussed. The means to solve these problems and the prospects of carbon/carbon composites in artificial bones were predicted. It was believed that surface modification in implantation of carbon/carbon composites should promote its application in artificial bones.
