The condensed polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon resin was prepared with naphthalene orα-naphthol as raw material and p-xylenediol as crosslinker. The reaction was monitored by IR and UV measurements.The reaction mechanism,influencing factors and curing conditions were investigated.
