在东天山地区晚石炭—早二叠世俯冲-增生造山过程中,形成了大量镁铁-超镁铁岩石以及大量Cu-Ni-PGE矿床,包括土墩-黄山-镜儿泉一带大量铜镍硫化物矿床,构成了我国重要的内生金属矿床富集区和后备矿产基地.这些矿床形成于岛弧环境,为古亚洲洋俯冲增生的产物,并非形成于碰撞后伸展环境.
In the late Paleozoic (Upper Carboniferous to Lower Permian), ancient Tianshan ocean north-dipping subduction beneath the Dananhu-Tousuquan arc triggered large mafic-ultramafic emplacement with related magmatic Cu-Ni-PGE sulfide deposits. These deposits including the Huangshandong and Huangshan deposits. The magmatic sulphide deposits occurred during the subduction-aecretion island setting similar to Alaska-Ural type Cu-Ni-PGE deposits rather than in the post-collision stage.
