摘要
通过分析古典诗歌中语言形式与内涵表达的互动作用,指出在英译中诗歌形式传达的必要性。在探讨诗歌的语言形式与本民族文化传统的紧密关系的基础上,分析在翻译中对待诗歌形式的不同策略取向下各种译文的得失,指出对诗歌形式进行创造性的转换是比较理想的选择。
After analyzing the interaction between linguistic form and expression mode, the paper claims that reproduction of some important features of linguistic form is necessary in Chinese - English translation of Chinese classical poetry. Then it gives an analysis of the close relationship between linguistic form and cultural tradition, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of each approach that different schools adopt. It concludes that creative transformation on the form of poetry is the best way to tackle the problem of linguistic forms in Chinese - English Translation of classical poetry.
