摘要
历来认为《老子》第八十章是对老子理想社会的集中描述,这种理解并不完整。这一章并非对于理想社会的直接描述,而是叙述了通往理想社会的具体途径。老子认为,只要人们顺应自然,不去追求满足超出于自然本性之外的欲望,于是我们将弃绝满足这些欲望的工具和交往,并将最终消灭战争。那时,只有世代生活在同一块土地上的血亲氏族,用上天赐予的力量来满足他们与生俱来的自然需要。
The Chapter 80 of Laozi is always considered a description of Laozi＇s ideal society. But in this text, the author holds that this chapter is not a direct description of the ideal world, but a narration of the specific way to approach it. In Laozi＇s opinion, as long as people conform to the nature, not trying to pursue desires beyond nature, we would abandon the tools and communications that aim to satisfy the desires, and the war would be eliminated finally. And then, only the clans connected by kin living in the same land for generations can satisfy their natural requirement by the power bestowed by Heaven.
