摘要 在听、说、读、写四项技能中,英语写作最容易被教师和学生忽略。然而英语教学的目的是教给学生用英语进行交际。写作,毫无疑问,是一个重要的交际手段。教师应教会学生用英语表达自己的思想、情感和观点。但通过聆听一些学生的演讲,发现学生演讲稿的问题颇多,如写作前缺乏准备,不会写引言段和结论段,缺乏段落写作知识以及不会恰当使用连接词。事实表明学生并没有掌握写作的基本知识,而这一切首先要从教学和教师身上找原因。 Among the four basic skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing, writing tends to be neglected by students and teachers. However, the purpose of teaching English is to teach students to communicate in the language. Writing, without any doubt, is an important way of communication. A teacher should help students to learn how to express their thoughts, feelings and views in English. But after listening to a speech contest, I find there are some common problems in students' prepared speech drafts, such as lacking preparation before writing, not knowing how to construct a good introduction, paragraph and conclusion, and using connective words improperly. Facts show that students lack the basic knowledge of writing, and for this teachers should take the chief responsibility.
