摘要
1998年美国出台《帕金斯职业与应用技术修订法案》后,美国教育部相继发布了一系列职业教育数据报告,2003年发布的《1982——1998高中职业课程选修数据分析报告》便是其中之一。本文在综合分析该报告大量数据的基础上,阐述了20世纪后期美国综合高中职业课程选修情况的变化趋势,并通过分析得出结论:美国20世纪后期经济状况、劳动市场需求状况及教育改革是产生这些趋势的重要原因。
In 1998, the U.S. Department of Education issued a series of reports on the vocational education data after the Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Applied Technology Act Amendments of 1998 was enacted. And Trends in High School Vocational/Technical Coursetaking:. 1982-1998 is one of these reports. Based on the data analysis of the report, the article demonstrates the trends of American high school vocational coursetaking in the late 20th century. The conclusions are as follows: The economic condition, the labor market condition and the education reform during the late 20th century are important factors for promoting the trends of vocational and technical coursetaking.
