王坪西沟铅锌矿赋存于近EW向构造破碎带中或破碎带与NE向断裂的交汇处,呈脉状、透镜状;矿体形态、产状严格受破碎带控制,且多产于石英二(闪)长岩中;断裂的产状变化处为富厚矿体赋存的有利部位;矿床围岩蚀变强烈,以绢英岩化、硅化、绿泥石化为主,次为碳酸盐化,并与铅锌矿化关系密切;稳定同位素数据表明矿石的硫源较为单一而铅源却较复杂,铅锌矿是在中-高温热液条件下形成。
Wangpingxigou Pb-Zn deposit is located in the EW tectonoclastic belt of the volcanic rocks of Xiong'er group or at intersection of the belt and the NW fault occurring as veins and lenses. Ore bodies are mainly in monzonite or quartz diorite and their morphology and occurrence are strictly controlled by the belt. The thick and rich ore bodies are often located at places where occurrence of the fault is changed. Wall rock alteration is strong and dominated by phyllic alteration, silicification and chloritization then carbonation that is generally related closely to Pb, Zn mineralization. Analysis of stable isotopes shows that S source is relatively simple and Pb is complex and the Pb, Zn ore was formed at medium-high temperature. Study on geology and ore-forming regularity reveals and we point out that there is good prospect for exploration in the east and north-east margin of Taishanmiao granitoids.
