A kind of Fe base supersaturated solid solution has been made by mechanical alloying, and it is concluded that element C enters into the a-Fe lattice with a higher rate than element Ti does. With the heat-treatment at 800℃ for 1h, TiC phase can precipitate from the Fe base supersaturated solid solution, then Fe base is strengthened by TiC dispersion.
