摘要
探讨了元数据的概念、元数据的基于XMLSchema的表达形式、元数据的基于RDF(Resource Description Framework)的表达形式,对元数据的这两种表达形式作了对比,指出了RDF具有的优点,并基于RDF描述了商业文档中的元数据。最后,指出了RDF中存在的问题和进一步发展的方向。
Discuss the concept of metadata,the way of expressing metadata based on XML Schema, the way of expressing metadata based on RDF（ Resource Description Framework）. Compare these two ways of expressing metadata,and point out the advantage of RDF. Then an instance of business document metadata is introduced to explain how to express metadata based on RDF. In the end, point out the shortcoming of RDF and the way of solving this problem.
