摘要
多义现象不仅是一种语言现象,也是一种认知现象。本文运用了认知语言学的理论对多义现象生成机制进行了分析,并在此基础上对英汉对应多义词进行了对比分析,论证了认知共性与个性同样也存在于多义想象之中。这些异同可以分别从认知、文化及语言角度来加以解释。
The language phenomenon of polysemy is a type of cognition. With cognitive theory as the framework, this article analyses its underlying cognitive mechanism, and based on which, we have a comparative study between polysemous equivalents in Chinese and English, and the study shows that the similarity and difference can be accounted for in terms of similar cognition and cross-cultural differences.
