摘要
针对大比例尺地形图中居民地图形化简的一个方面———建筑物多边形的化简问题,提出一种与比例尺相关,结合角度和长度两类阈值为探测依据的化简方法,在Visual Basic6.0环境下实现了本算法,实验结果表明此方法在保持街区的形态特征上效果明显。
It presents an approach to simplifying building polygon-one aspect of the simplification of inhabited map area, which is supported by a arithmetic based on two thresholds-the length and the angle, to detect the shape of buildings. An example based on this method is carried out in the environment of Visual Basic 6.0. Results of the test prove that the method is evident of preserving the shape characters of urban blocks.
