The aim of this study was to determine limiting amino acids in Inner Mongolian White Cashmere Goats. Twelve growing cashmere goats fitted with permanent cannula in rumen and T-type cannula at proximal duodenum and terminal ileum were used. Duodenally infused amount on amino acids (AA) was based on amino acid flows in small intestine of goat according to an incremental model. Amino acid mixtures were infused into the duodenum by removal of each amino acid in turn from AA mixtures of corresponding group. The disappearing of amino acids in Small intestine and balance of amino acids as well as metabolism of nitrogen were determined. The results indicated that: (1) disappearing of amino acids in the small intestine and ABBI were significantly influenced for removal of Met, Ser, Cys, His, Arg treatments. (2) Compared with control treatment, retained nitrogen (g/kgw^0.75) by removal of Met, His, Arg, Ser, Cys treatment was decreased by 29.07%, 20.45%, 51.76%, 54.25% and 72.17%, respectively. The limiting amino acids in Inner Mongolian White Cashmere Goats are Cys (72.17%), Ser (54.25%), Arg (51.76%), Met (29.07%) and His (20.45%).
