The application of superconductors in electric power systems may increase transmission capacity, reduce transfer loss, improve the stability and reliability of the system, improve the quality of electric power and be beneficial to environmental protection. The development of superconductors promotes the development of the applied technology of superconductivity. The technology of superconductivity has a bright future in electric power systems and has become one of the most potential electric power technology in the 21't centurey.
