摘要
随着翻译研究的蓬勃发展,翻译作为一门独立的学科越来越受到重视。担负课程主要使命的翻译教材也日益显露出其弊端。本文旨在借用德国Vermeer提出的目的论为指导,对中国翻译教材(主要是英汉双语翻译教材)的建设进行理论上的探计,就如何编写适合作为翻译专业教学的翻译教材提出如下建议:(1)教材中要重申翻译的内涵和外延,拓展翻译概念;(2)教材中要提出多元化翻译标准,允许采取多种翻译策略;(3)教材中要凸显译者,强调译者的主观能动性;(4)教材编写要作需求分析,反映用户意向。
With the rapid development of translation studies, translation as an independent discipline has been bocoming a focus in the field of translation. Translation textbooks, as the medium of carrying out the task of this curriculum, are gradually unfolding its deficiencies. Guided by Vermeer's skopos theory, this paper tries to make some theoretical elaborations of how to compile translation textbooks (mainly in English and Chinese) in China from a new perspective and offer such tentative suggestions for making effective translation textbooks for students majored in translation studies: (1) the concept of what is translation needs to be redefined in the textbook, with emphasis on its wider scope; (2) multiple translation standards are expected to be offered for different kinds of translation practice and various translation strategies are encouraged; (3) the role of translator should be put on the agenda in the textbook, with focus on the translator's subjectivity and creativity; (4) the textbook should be user-oriented and needs analysis should be done before the compilers make a translation textbook.
