摘要
本文以评价理论为准绳,着重实例,从概念上分析“比较、主观、社会价值”的识别评价方法和从语言上分析词汇、语法和语篇的识别方法;分析和探讨评价三大功能,表达作者的意见,建立和维护作者与读者、说话人与听话者的关系,组织话语;同时指出评价的四个参数:好与坏(肯定与否定)、必然性、期待和重要性(关联性)。通过上述分析,以期有助于语篇分析和话语批评。
Taking appraisal theory as a principle,this paper cites examples to analyse comparison,subjectivity and social value conceptually and lexis,grammar and text linguistically; explores the speaker's or writer's opinion; constructs and maintains relations between the speaker or writer and hearer or reader,so as to organize the discourse; and points out four parameters; goat or bad, certainty, expectedness and importance or relevance. In this way the theory is applicable to text analysis and to critical discourse.
