摘要
Donald Barthelme, known as the pioneer ofpostmodernism, is not a serious, straight-ahead writer. He delights in ambiguity, juxtaposition, found texts, old words, old pictures and focused irony. This paper is to apply the text analysis to one of his best work The Glass Mountain and explore the reality behind the absurd story and writing style.
