摘要
Reading, as an important input of language, is one of the most essential parts in ELT. This paper analyzes the current situation in reading teaching by studying the teaching methods and human factors. With the help of a questionnaire, some problems existing in reading are put forward. The pedagogical implication of the survey as to acquiring communicative competence in reading course is discussed.
