摘要
目前大学英语教材存在的主要问题是,所选文章缺乏文学、文化性、民族性以及经典性和元典性。通过适当增加文学作品的数量,增添有关中国文化和社会生活的篇章,增选中外文学、文化史上的经典和元典作品,可以有效地解决这些问题。
There are serious flaws in current college English textbooks. They are shown in the lack of literariness, nationality and classicness. The problems can be effectively solved by adding to textbooks some literary works, articles about Chinese culture and society, classic works in Chinese and foreign history of literature and culture.
