摘要
在西方文学批评史上,莎士比亚与《哈姆雷特》始终受到批评家的关注,并不断激发出新的诠释和想象,以致在相关的论说中,我们或许已经无法断定何为正确,却只能去描述变换不居的错误方式。“莎士比亚问题”也已经不仅是关于作家和文本的争论,而是不同语境从中延伸的理解和意义。本文以莎士比亚及其《哈姆雷特》为个案,追索最具代表性的诠释方法和批评类型,特别是当代的意识形态批评、性别身份批评和宗教观念批评,从而既为中国语境中的莎士比亚研究提供参照,也使我们更加直观地理解西方的主要批评流派。
In the history of Western literary criticism, Shakespeare and his ltamlet have stimulated so many critics to offer different interpretations with their own imagination that nothing seems to be right or false but ＂thinking makes it so＂. In this sense, ＂problems of Shakespeare＂ are not only the argument about the author and his writing, but the construction of meaning and self-understanding in various contexts. Mapping the landscape of the related critics, this paper tries to focus on the changes of the critical paradigm, the hermeneutic ideas, and especially of the contemporary emphases on ideology, gender and religiousness.
