摘要
文章指出,满足读者需要是图书馆人的最大需要,也是图书馆人的基本职责,分析了读者需要的性质,提出读者需要的社会性、经济性、历史性、多样性、层次性、特殊性以及群体性。
This article points out that the greatest and the basic obligation of librarians is to satisfy the needs of the broad readers. The author of this article holds that the needs of readers can be classified into different sorts with different features, such as, the social features,the historical features,the multi-features,the different-layer features, and the special features, and the group features.
