摘要
阎照祥编著的《英国史》、钱乘旦、许洁明合著的《英国通史》是近来问世的英国史研究的新成果。两部史著都是具有创新点的佳作,在编著体例、选图、注释等方面存在差异,在对一些重大历史事件的认识上,两史作也有不同的观点。当然,两部史著尽管存在些微不足,但并不影响它们是极为成功的英国史研究著作。
＂The History of the United Kingdom＂ by Yan Zhaoxiang and ＂The General history of UK＂ by Qian Chengdan and Xu Jieming are the new achievements of English national history research recently. These two are both excellent history works with innovation points. However, there are differences in style, illustration and annotation etc. On the understanding of some significant historical events, these two works have different viewpoints. Certainly, there exists slightly insufficient in both works, but this does not weaken them as very successful English national history research works.
