摘要
汉唐时期,凉州以其独特的地理位置、政治、经济、文化地位成为西北战略要地和都会,凉州成为我国西北仅次于长安的最大城市,前凉、后凉、南凉、北凉以及唐初的大凉都曾在此建都,以后历为州、郡府治。唐代前期,唐政府对河西进行了大规模的开发治理,使凉州作为西北的政治、经济、军事中心的地位进一步巩固。凉州一度成为东西经济文化交流、国际交通的枢纽,是唐政府经略西域的后方总部,并成为国家安全战略的重点。
During the Han and Tang Dynasty, with its unique geographical location, political, economic, cultural status as a strategy to Northwest and big city, Liangzhou had become China's second-largest city next to Changan. The Former Liang Dynasty, the Later Liang Dynasty, the South Liang Dynasty, the North Liang Dynasty and Daliang in the early Tang Dynasty all once founded its capital here. In earlier stage of the Tang Dynasty, the Tang government carried a large-scale development on Hexi area. Liangzhou's position of political, economic and military of the Northwest had been further consolidated and become pivot of midwest exchange, rear general headquarters of the Western Regions and the focal point of national security strategy.
