The bridge over the Gong River is a key project in the south of Bejing-Jiulong arterial line and No.15 pier,the deepest water pier of the bridge is a difficult point in the bridge construction.This paper deals with its construction,including piles construction,steel open caisson design and steel open caisson sinking.
