Fiber Optical Sensing Technology and its Applications in Measuring Atmospheric Optical Turbulence Parameters

摘要 简要回顾了几种常用的光学湍流洲量方法,分析了其适用条件和存在的主要问题。阐述了将光纤传感技术引入大气光学湍流测量领域的思想,并且提出了两种有望获得突破的技术方案,即光纤干涉法和光纤准直耦合法。实验研究表明,前者在2 cm的空气路径上,后者在10 cm的空气路径上即可获得明显的湍流信息。同时发现光纤系统的噪声和稳定性是制约研究进展的主要因素。 Several methods to measure optical turbulence, including their applicable conditions and main problems are briefly reviewed and analyzed. The idea of using fiber sensing technology in atmospheric optic turbulence measurement is introduced, and two valuable technical schemes, fiber interference and fiber collimation and coupling, are given. Experiments showed that distinct turbulence induced signal can be acquired in 2 cm and 10 cm air path by the two methods respectively. Meanwhile, it is found that noise and stability in fiber optic system are the main problems to restrict further study.
