摘要
针对H.264中模式选择过程异常复杂的问题,提出了一种快速的模式选择算法.通过对不同编码模式的利用率进行统计分析,合理安排各种编码模式的计算顺序,同时对优先选择的编码模式应用合适的阈值技术,可跳过许多不必要的编码模式.仿真结果标明:在信噪比和比特率保持相近的前提下,总编码时间的减少在47%以上.
In order to decrease the computational complexity of H. 264 encoder, a fast mode decision method was proposed. Based on the statistical analysis of adopted encoding modes finally, the search order of different modes is rearranged. Moreover, combined with the technology to use proper threshold on some modes, many unnecessary prediction modes are skipped. The simulation results show that, compared to the original encoder, this method can reduce the total encoding time by over 47% with similar PSNR and bitrate.
