摘要
对吐鲁番交河古城墓葬和遗址出土的成人颅骨3具(男1,女2)进行研究,其时代为回鹘高昌时期.三具颅骨显示出既具有大蒙古人的大部分特征,也有欧罗巴人种的许多特征.
The authors studied three adult crania unearthed from Jiaohe site in Turufan county. Xinjiang. The three crania (1 male, 2 female) were dated to the Huigu Gaochang epoch. The mor phological observation and craniometry showed that the ancient Jiaohe inhabitants possessed most of Mongoloid characters and also some European characters.
