摘要
网络已经成为当今人们交流信息的一种方式,无源光网络技术(PON)是一种新兴的覆盖“最后一公里”的宽带光纤接入技术。较详细地介绍PON技术的基础知识、各PON的基本特点与原理和关键技术,同时根据PON固有的原理和特点,提出PON除在接入网领域的运用外,还能在矿井通信监控和高速公路通信、收费、监控等方面运用的基本思想。
Now internet has become a method of communication while PON is an emerging broadband optical fiber access technology covering the last kilometer. The present author gives an introduction of the PON＇s basic knowledge, characteristics, theory and key technology, based on which he also points out that besides the access network area, PON could be applied as well to mine telecommunication monitoring, expressway telecommunication, charging and monitoring, and so on.
