摘要
在福建洋口林场4年生的杉木人工林建立固定试验标准地。选择修枝木,每年对其进行1次修枝,修枝强度为4种规定树干直径(6、8、10和12 cm)以下的所有枝条。试验5 a后研究不同修枝强度对9年生杉木林生长的影响,结果表明,修枝木的胸径和单株材积均随修枝强度的增加而显著减小,修枝对树高生长量的影响不显著。适当修枝(12 cm强度)有利于杉木的生长,虽然其效果不显著;较大的修枝强度(6 cm)不利于杉木胸径的生长。建议以10和12 cm作为杉木的适宜修枝强度。
An experiment was established in a d-year-old Chinese fir plantation in Yangkou state forest farm, Fujian, China Selected trees were pruned once a year to remove all branches to d predetermined stem diameters (6, 8, 10 and 12 cm). Diameter at breast height(DBH) and single tree stem volume increment 5 years following treatments at age 9 years decreased significantly with pruning intensity increased. Pruning had no significant effect on height increment. Proper pruning intensity (12 cm intensity) may increase the growth of the trees, though the difference was not significant. High intensity pruning (6 cm intensity) decreased DBH increment of Chinese fir trees. Pruning with intensities of 10 and 12 cm were recommended for Chinese fir.
