摘要
本文就高等工程教育几个基本概念的研究,结合我国工程教育的实践,写了几点注记,以期引起感兴趣的同仁们的讨论。这些问题是:关于什么是“大学”,关于大学教师的职责,关于发挥大学生的潜能,关于工程教育的多样性,以及关于高等工程教育中大学、政府、工业界之间的关系的历史研究等。限于篇幅,本文只希望提出问题以及阐述一些原则性的看法,未能专注深入到相关问题认识的历史变迁以及教育价值观与发展观的基本理论问题中去。但上述这些问题的讨论,与目前的教育发展研究是紧密相关的。
Based on the research of some basic concepts concerning higher engineering education and the situation in China, this paper aims at arousing the interest of colleagues. The questions are： What is university？ What is the responsibility of a teacher？ How to stimulate the students＇ potentiality？ How about the diversity of engineering education？ And what is the relationship between university, government and industry in the course of higher engineering education？ Here the paper only puts forward some questions and illustrates some views in principles instead of conducting a deep research of the historical change as well as the basic theoretic problems concerning teaching values and development perspective. However, the above-mentioned discussion is closely linked with the present research in the development of education.
