难以突破的创新窘境:断裂性技术的挑战

摘要 断裂性技术引发的破环性创新是成熟大公司面临的最重要的挑战之一,如何突破这一创新窘境,近年来一直是国际上管理学研究的热点和前沿。本文首先从技术发展曲线及技术周期的角度分析了断裂性技术产生的原因以及特点;进而指出断裂性技术出现时,企业的核心竞争能力将走向了它的反面:核心刚性,大公司原有的规则和体系出现失效,导致大公司很难跨越这一创新窘境。最后,从树立创新的观念;保持战略的灵活性;组织的灵活性和开放性;研究开发投入的合理分配四个角度就大公司如何面对断裂性技术的挑战提出了思考。 The most fatal challenge that established firms face is the disruptive innovation, and how to break the innovation dilemma is the focus of international management research. The paper analyzes the causations and characteristics of disruptive technology at first, and points out that the core competence of enterprises will falls to the opposite direction which is named as core rigidity when disruptive technology appears. When this happens, the rules and systems of established firms break up which make it difficult for the established firms to overcome the innovation dilemma. In the last, the paper talks about how to face the challenges of disruptive technology for established firms from the aspects of innovation viewpoint, flexibility in strategy and organization, organizational openness, and proper ration of R&D investment.
