摘要
文中提出了一种基于全零块检测的快速运动估计方法.算法结合误差曲面特性以及运动矢量中心偏移特性,得到最佳参考运动矢量;利用运动矢量的方向和强度信息,确定搜索方向,切换搜索模式,搜索的同时应用全零块的中止准则.算法无需保存搜索记录,存储开销小,同时搜索策略快速有效,适用于移动视频通信终端设备存储能力有限且实时要求较高的场合.
Based on zero block detection technique, the paper proposes a fast searching method for motion estimation. It gets the best reference motion vectors from the errorsurface and the center deviation characteristics, and it uses the direction and intensity information to choose the proper searching mode. To further speed up the implementation, zero detection technology is combined with motion estimation. The proposed method does not need any extra requirement of memory for saving searching records. For the small memory consumption and fast searching method, the algorithm can be used in wireless communications to resolve the limit of memory and meet the requirement of real-time processing.
